Dear Edgar,

What resonated with me most is that this isn't really about rejecting advice—it's about protecting the space where people feel safe enough to create in their own voice.

I think many creators already carry enough self-doubt. When every other message tells us we're doing it wrong, it's easy to lose sight of why we started writing in the first place.

Your reminder that authenticity, encouragement, and genuine connection matter just as much as growth metrics felt refreshing. Sometimes the healthiest communities aren't built by having all the answers, but by making room for different ways of showing up. Wishing you a restful holiday and looking forward to seeing where your reflections take The SuperAdvisor next.

I suspect the answer to why these posts travel is devastatingly simple: anxiety clicks. “Six things you do wrong to your body before you even wake up” will probably outperform “six things your body is already doing rather well” every time. But building authority by first making the reader feel deficient is a poor bargain, and I join in your refusal to make it.

Well said! And yes. Anxiety clicks does play into it, doesn’t it?

I 💯 percent agree with you! Pet peeve here too!
